How to Print ChatGPT Conversations

When you hit Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac) on a ChatGPT page, your browser tries to print everything it sees — including the sidebar, the navigation bar, the input field, and any floating UI elements. The result is cluttered, often cuts off mid-sentence, and looks nothing like a professional document.

Some browsers handle this better than others, and ChatGPT does include some basic print styles — but "basic" is the operative word. Long code blocks overflow. Images misalign.
